    Default Protein/Creatine shakes ??

Been doing weights (+ cardio) at the gym for a while now and I'd like to introduce a shake into my post (or pre) gym diet, I'm 30-something, I'm not going for huge size, bulking up or shredded or owt like that, just something to feed my muscles perhaps pre and post gym and google just confuses me.

What I'd like to achieve is continued steady muscle growth and quicker recovery as my muscles ache the next day or two, so I have the weekend off.

What do the wise SMB gym goers recommend.

Double Maxim. And the top and tail of it is: eat less, exercise more.

Protein and ground oats pre, protein and dextrose after.

    Creatine with juice with breakfast.

All from my protein. They actually do a bundle with all that in.

If you are going to have one i would say after you work out to feed your muscles and help repair them,a word of warning though, after you have one get plenty water into your system to get it round your body,i got a kidney stone four year ago,the stone was mainly calcium and i blame the protein shakes.
