Default Time for 'penalty goals- to be given in.....

situations like last night when a goal is 100% certain to be scored and is prevented from doing so by illegal means i.e. cheating.

I don't mean when a guy is clear one on one as there is a 50-50 chance the goalie will save.

The Uruguayans are the most cynical, cheating bunch of tossers in the WC and I hope the Dutch murder them.

The rules are fine and won't change.

It would create far too many grey areas, what is 100% guaranteed etc, it's fine as it is, unfortunate in freak situations like yesterday but a penalty and a red card is decent punishment for me.

I agree with the sentiment of your post - it was blatent cheating. However 'penalty goals' would be far too difficult to implement at present. With video replays perhaps.

In the vast majority of cases, a sending off and a penalty is deemed too harsh, as you're being punished twice. Of course, last night the sending off wasn't a punishment. However, it shouldn't have been a free kick to Ghana that led to the handball, so you could say it was justice that he missed.

I don't know why Suarez didn't just head it off the line anyway.

    DISAGREE MATE.

Every ''trick'' in the book has been used and Suarez is a nasty little bassa - that follow through on the Ghanian who was lying on the deck was so cowardly.
