It feckin' turns my stomach to read that - on here lately we've had issues like the Waffen SS and we've discussed WW2 in terms of personal memories. This old lass lived those years, there is absolutely no doubt at all that she'll have lost relations, certainly friends and most possibly even more. Then for this to happen to her, alone, asleep in the safety of her own home, in her twilight years, just does not bear contemplation.
