The penalty

I have watched the incident several times, and still can't see why the penalty was given. Tevez just collided with Bardo. Fucking shocking decision.

it was a penalty. Tevez knocked the ball over the sliding bardsley who then collided with Tevez. That collision wiped Tevez out. Clumsy, last ditch tackle that needed to be won. Bardsley didn't win so it's a foul.

my initial reaction was to shout "fucking webb!!" in a pub full of folk thinking bardsley had won the ball. Watched the replay and went "oh.. fucking bardsley!".

in the box, bardsley was no where near the ball.

and that was just from being at the game. but was tevez going down before the man was near him? i havent seen it since, but it did strike me he went down easily and was looking for it.

He seen the tackle coming and kinda prepared himself for it. Bardsley's contact still knocked him off his feet though.
