I thought Sony fixed them for nowt. Our younguns died, wouldnt read discs from memory. Phoned Game, might as well of spoke to himself, so phoned Sony and they arranged a courier to take his away and replaced it there and then with a new/reconned one. Lost all his saves but cost him nowt.

PS3 owners were advised to watch BBC's Watchdog this coming week. No reason was given what it is all about but it very well may be worth your while to watch it and see what they say

I've had mine 18 month therefore my one year warrenty had ran out, and they told me it would be £128 to get replaced. I'm pissed off with them like.

I've heard the new ones are showing a tendency to self combust. Reliabilty prior has been superb compared to the 360 but there are apparently worrying concerns over the PS3 mk2.
