    Default Colbacks place.

People are whinging but noone has earned colbacks place in the team. Gardner apart from one very good tackle did very little to impress during his cameo and Cattermole has been poor for most of the season.
Meyler isnt match fit and doesnt offer the goals or creative spark, which is what people are saying Colback doesnt offer us.

Colback has played well consistently this season, we wont come up against a midfield with tottenhams quality often and we weren't over run.

if colback loses his place it will be a tactical swap for Gardner who will get in the box.
    Otherwise he starts on merit

He started on merit, but we need better in that area. A Meyler full recovery, a Gardner increase in form or a new player in January would be nice.

Think the lads done great this season but him and Vaughan are the same type of player Vaughan looks the better player to me,we need either Catts, Meyler or O`Shea in there alongside him

yeah I think we do need something a bit different and Vaughan is the best CM at the club. very similar to scott parker imo.

O'Shea's passing is bad enough at right back im not sure having him there would be a good idea with the form he is in.

meyler would make us solid I think giving vaughan more freedom to push forward, gardner might be good going forward with vaughan sitting back and playing passes and starting off attacks.

Catts has been poor all season and offers nothing more than Colback imo.

I honestly think catts has played a lot better than usual this season. His best since when he first came anyway. Id play him and Vaughan together and see how it goes, if it doesnt work rotate it till one works. Ill imagine it will be someone and vaughan

I think catts has been the worst performer by far this season! Done nothing apart from run around like a headless chicken giving the ball away. IMO obvcourse

I think Bardo an oshea have both been worse overall. Dont think catts has been one of our best players but i think he has played better this year than last

people saying meyler. I don't think he is a good as what we have cannot see him becoming good or a starter.

I don't know whether it's just me but I follow him more closely as our captain and apparent leader. Nine times out of ten his passes are wayward and he doesn't win the ball enough in the middle of the park. Aggravates the hell out of me! Him being in starting 11 massively annoys me.

    Rant over.

I agree. Cattermole and Elmo should be transfer listed in January.
