    Default Elmo/Zebedee

I'll swear Elmo was on springs yesterday.

Mignolet appears to be a very accurate kicker, as time after time he found Elmo, and I don't think that there was once that he didn't win the header - and most of the time they were directed headers too, not a random bounce off the top of his head. Very impressive.

Hope we can make more of it though, as the team gels, because often that accurate kick, and won header, then led to nothing because the ball dropped into space inbetween Elmo and Bent. Problem with playing one up top, maybe, which might be better with a second forward playing in that gap. Otherwise it needs Bent to get closer, or one of the central mids to be forward quicker, because we could make a lot out of this.

I think you'll find, and I hope that Garydon doesn't stalk me here , but the kicks were not directed at Elmo, (Minger could be doing it on purpose of course) but Elmo's timing is so perfect that he runs onto the kick. Minger doesn't find Elmo, Elmo finds the ball. I'd put him on the edge of the box and run onto our corners.

Mignolet's kicks were directly aimed at Elmo. You can tell that this was a pre-arranged tactic. To say they were fortunate is quite naive imo.

He won the majority of aerial battles like. Arsenal had no one that could cope with him.

Clichy was outstanding marra, the way he let Elmo win the ball cos he knew it was going nowhere.

In all honesty, I think Mignolet has a touch of the Sorensen's in his foot.
