As for Davies, short term it could be a decent signing.

How can you call Bentdner shite man, its a mindless comment. Hes had a few poor games but hes wearing the red and white shirt so he gets my full support and is more than good enough for our club, we are not a top 4 team and if he was scoring more he wouldnt be at Sunderland anyway. If you watched any of our games you would see how important he is to our play at the moment, look what happened when he went off on Sat, yes we won but played poorly on the break.

I bet if he scores 10 in the second half of the season you will be saying hes mint bla bla bla.

Back to Davies he could be a good option and would hold it up well but offers no pace so he would need Support at every opportunity.
