    Default Bentley to Newcastle

According to the Mail. Might be a decent signing for them especially if they keep hold of Carroll.

Levy won't let him go out on loan unless a club will pay 100% of his wages, so therefore he won't be going to Newcastle. The same with Robbie Keane.

Newcastle boss Alan Pardew is a big fan of Bentley, 26, and believes his crossing ability would be a perfect foil for striker Andy Carroll.
Which will be ideal... when Carroll signs for Spurs

Anybody else find it a tad ironic that the player that was proclaimed to be Beckham's replacement gets the boot to make way for an aging Beckham.

Would be surprised if they could afford him (and Ben Arfa who is appatrently nailed on for £5mil) without flogging someone (namely Carroll).
