    Default referee today

    was atrocious imo

thanks for the red card but he was shit scared to award us anything in the second half which meant our players got not protection whatsoever.

when fuller kicked meyler in the back of the legs it was a straight red no question- its just as bad as balotelli or cabaye or rooney against moldova and it was in full view. considering hes just come back from a serious knee injury it's just not on. Fuller had another two footed tackle on meyler didnt he that went unpunished

also O'Shea's yellow card was appaling- he knew there was no foul he was just desperate to give a Sunderland player a yellow.

I'm happy with the win but stoke went pretty much all out to injure meyler in the second half and got nothing for it.

and then that walking forehead of a manager comes out and accuses him of cheating. Did stoke get that FA directive dvd about tackling or can that massive abortion just not use a dvd player

maybe but the way i saw it (on tv sorry) was that he blew the whistle and ran straight over as if he had already decided to give the card- O'Shea seemed to find it funny tbh

Pulis and Stoke are using excuses because they weren't good enough. After seeing them twice now I fully believe they are in a false league position. They're now on a very bad run of games and they're certainly not safe yet.

Think it was definitely for complaining, but it was a shocking decision to give a free kick

I agree, I also believe Pulis targeted Meyer and told his players to ruff him up knowing the lad had come back from serious injury, hoping he'd bottle it no doubt and become a weakness, I'm pleased to see Meyer came through with flying colours .. the little Meyler or whatever his name is touch, gave it away.

Jermone was targetting Mignolet as well.

Until Mig left him in a heap.
