Great thread

Now I know I'm setting myself up for some of the SMB's kings of comedy, but what is the point of posting 'great thread' or suchlike on a thread you have no interest in?

I've noticed it a fair bit lately and just wondered what the attraction of doing it is? Is it attention seeking? Or trying to up your post count by posting some inane shite on any thread you can?

I just dont understand why if someone doesn't like a thread they would then spend time and effort pushing it back to the top of the page.

If that's what his inspiration was then I must explain myself; the thread in question was in fact a turdthread tantamount to spam, and therefore a subtle show of contempt was appropriate. I'd also recommend that as you were responsible for it that you spend an appropriate amount of time in the SMB sin-bin.
