    Default The 'Progressive' Labour Government

Even if you supported Labour at the last election, surely you won't miss any of their restrictions on civil liberties and personal freedom.

Indeed. One reason I could never support Labour.

It'll be interesting to see if these good intentions are ditched as soon as it is deemed 'necessary' for national security, or some other such deliberately vague reason. I watch with interest.

Anyone know what the law says, if anything, on what happens to the data collected for these various databases should they be ditched? There'll be a lot of very interested private companies with big cheques, I'd imagine, it'll be interesting to know whether the data can be sold, and worth keeping an eye on whether it is.
