    So much easier to interpret years ago, these days even the players and officials don't know what's offside and what isn't.

    What a fucking farce it has turned into.

    Players and TV pundits have always been ignorant about this LAW along with the other 16.
    The officials certainly do understand it.

    It's no better now than it ever was; in fact the striker's should get benefit of the doubt, so it is, in fact, better.

    'Interfering with play' was always a rule, just we didn't have sky-boys gurning about it every week.
