Default Personal videoing of Premier League match (Youtube query)

I recently attended Bolton vs. Birmingham and my daughter happened to get three bits of video on her camera which were interesting snippets of the game. We uploaded them onto Youtube....and my account has been suspended as a consequence (with lots of family movie clips etc). Thee strikes and you are out, it seems.

Looking around the web suggests that if I took the video, then I own the copyright and presumably there is therefore no infringement. Youtube does seem to have an appeals process but it looks somewhat tedious and there are veiled threats about mischievous counter-claims etc.

Does anyone have any better knowledge on this?

You are not allowed to film inside the ground during a match. You don't have the copyright.

If your lucky youtube will accept your appeal, delete the videos, and let you get your account back for the other vids.

    .
He is correct. It's in the T&Cs when you buy your ticket. That's why we have to take pictures and videos off here.

Hmm. OK, so apparently this breaks the T&Cs of the ticket. However, video was taken, so who owns the video which I took, or is the question somehow invalid?

Wow. Looks like an easy way to lose a bunch of family movies. Lesson learned.

The copyright holder is the Premier League
