    Default Chris Herd Appeal

Villa have been successful over his Red Card appeal- Will probably play on Saturday then

I'm certainly not worried about Chris Herd playing against us. Decent young player, but no more of a prospect than Colback is for us.

It was a ridiculous sending off but he might be a bit 'nervous' in the box if he plays, fingers crossed

    Source? Nothing on the BBC.

I said at the weekend I thought the sending off was far too harsh and got completely shot down (in the real World, not on here).

Edit: Found it on Sky Sports http://www.skysports.com/story/0,,20876_7265252,00.html

I usually agree with you, despite you having a black&white cat, but not this time.

It wasn't a viscious challenge but, when the ball is played, Herd totally ignores the flight of the ball and goes for Ollsen ....... the sooner players realise they can be sent off, and concede penalties, the better in my opinion.

The ludicrous spectacle of players grabbing each other and prancing around like Strictly Come Dancing, every time there's a free kick or corner, is sickening tbh.

yeah that is a good point but I thought he got sent off for the perceived stamp as opposed to the holding onto and pushing of the player.
