    Default Sunday Lunch Before the Liverpool Game

    Ignoring The Worm; where would be good for a decent Sunday lunch prior to the Liverpool game?

    Am I best off heading for the sea-front (Roker/Marriott/The Promenade) or is there anywhere in the centre that does a good Sunday lunch?

    Cheers

    Panda, Yates, McDonalds, Burger King, Greggs but to name a few

    Not sure it'll be open but Asiana (echo24 building) is canny, or somewhere along Sunniside is reasonable as well, ie: Euazone? Roker side, you could try The Vic Carvey around 11:30 and get their first, before the queues. (seriously!)

    I like the restaurant at the Glass Centre for lunch, think it's called Throwing Stones. Took the parents there a couple of times when I've been back up in Sunderland.

    yea Sunday Lunch (not Sunday Roast/Carvery!)

    you can have lunch anywhere on a Sunday, and it would be called a Sunday Lunch, because of;

    a) what day it is (ie: Sunday), and
    b) what is it (ie: lunch)
