    Default religion/politics

Despite being involved in many religious threads I've never started one so here goes.

A question for the vocal humanists/atheists who voted Cameron.

Given that Mr. Cameron spent his morning in church today do you not think it hypocritical that you voted put a man in charge of the country at this critical time who is a mindless sheep/delusional/believes in fairies? Should you not have voted for the atheist Clegg on principal?

I have no idea whether Brown is a regular church attendee or not.

I'll be back after mowing the lawn.

Politics and religion do not mix. They tried it in the Middle Ages, and people got burnt.

i didnt know clegg was an athiest.if i'd known that,i'd have openly praised him.i voted lib/dem anyway.cameron could be the nicest bloke in the world, but i still would'nt vote tory.i think its entirely appropriate that that the tory leader just happens to be a sleazy slime ball.

Know what you mean, it is rather disconcerting for someone who talks to an invisible friend to be running the country.

I'll also be back after mowing the lawn which is fucking huge so that could be some time.

Maybe he could ask his invisible friend to slow down the rate at which grass grows.

What a politician does in his spare time is his own business. I would only become worried if he let fairy-worship affect his politics, like Blair. Nick Clegg is atheist but his wife and kids are Catholics IIRC.
