Just warning everybody who's coming on the coach to the Birmingham this Saturday. There's been an "incident" in Germany which could cause fireworks on the coach. Somebody somewhere had the daft idea of trusting me and Dave to take the branch flag to Germany as branch representatives! As a result the flag now has Benty's signature on the white stripe! Betty's going to go mental!!!! She can't stand Darren - she has high standards and 24 goals wasn't enough for her! Has anybody got any cillitbang or vanish I could borrow to try and get it off?!?! All I have to say on the matter is next year let Rob Henstock take the branch flag on tour!

It came back from Calais in 1 piece ... but I can't take any credit for that,

hope you've got some pics to prove the Darren Bent story & you didn't just get bored in the car and start drawing on the flag !

You see Glen I'm only 12 (as Dean and Dave always tell me) and I made a school boy error that a man of your experience wouldn't make! There is the simple difference! ;)

Yes - I have a photo of me with Darren Bent - I'll email it to the branch email sometime this week as part of my defence!

Rob Mason contacted me about that photo and they are doing a story about the flag and our charity stuff in the programme! Also if you have a look in "Legion of Light" the flag was spotted at Darlington by the dyslexic Mr Mason. Remember Bury?
Can i trust you with my flag young matt? can i expect scribbles from various other legends Stan Cummins perhaps?
