How do you know that? Is Sunderland a team full of England material which Capello is constantly overlooking? I don't think so. Bent is our only English player good enough to play for the national team and he has to fight for his place with the likes of Rooney or Defoe.

Probably not, but the appearance of Cahill leaves a little hope for the future. Really pleased to see that lad back in the team after the nasty scare he had.

The case of a certian Kevin Phillps also springs to mind. The whole system a sham.

Add to that the fact that the squad that bombed in SA is still largely the same, despite Capello's 'promise'.

I have absolutely no interest in the national side whatsoever. From the FA to the manager to the same old couldn't give a fuck players, the whole thing stinks.

If Matthew Upson and Glen Johnson are "England material" then yes, we totally are.
