    Default Beckham

Im starting to get irritated by him with his continual quest to get back in the England team and captain the Olympics side.

Not a bad lad David had a good career made a fortune shame about the wife but ffs realise its all over.

I like him and his wife. They seem nice people.

Massive respect for Beckham, great servant to English football. Haven't got a problem with his wife, tbh I would like to bonk her.

I watched him play a few times this season on TV and he's far from past it, at all. He's just won major leagues comeback player fo the year, missing half of the season and now getting 15 assists

Should be in the england team now imo, delivery of set pieces alone are enough to get him in. He's never had any real pace to lose either.

His wife is a bit of a misery guts, but I couldn't agree more with your other 3 points

Saw him play for MLS all-stars against Man United in pre-season and he ran the game playing a deep free role and pinging inch perfect 50/60 yard balls all over the shop.

I doubt he'll get back in the England team as Capello seems to have burned that bridge but it would be great to see him captain the Olympic team as a swansong to his career.

I think Beckham deserves a lot of respect for the way he has gone about playing the last few years. Played his heart out, got his head down and worked hard, always making himself available to his country unlike a certain other former England captain who didn't think his time was worthy of his national football team.

I hope Becks does get the armband for Team GB, it's the least he deserves after all he's done for England and for getting the Olympics to London in the first place.
