Elmo
So bad yesterday it was almost beyond belief, how on earth does he get picked every week?
Bruce got everything wrong yesterday, the formation, the team selection, the substitutions and it was a joke to see hiim stand motionless, arms folded all 2nd half, no wonder the players showed so little passion second half.

Re: Elmo
But, in his defence, the team he picked worked in the first half. We just couldn't score. Once again his substitutions and ability to change things when they weren't going our way were dreadful.

Re: Elmo
Tbf he wasn't the worst player on the pitch and he didn't do that badly.
Just wish he got a better ball into the box early in the first half when he got past Taylor

Typical SAFC under Bruce, press hard and play a high tempo in the first half an hour but don't really create anything threatening, and then fall to pieces 2nd half.

Who was worse in your opinion?
His crossing was akin to that of an 8 year old, he can barely kick the ball off the ground and is absolutely weak as piss, no heart whatsoever.

Gyan was poor but at least he did show the occasional glimpse of looking like a decent footballer, Elmo looks like he is there by accident.

Harsh, on both Bruce and Elmo. I honestly believe we deserved to win yesterday. We had chances and wasted them. We really lack a cutting edge in and around the box. I do worry about Bruce's ability to pick the right team consistently, and continue to wonder about his tactics.
You get a lot of wingers like Elmo who are decent running at players but whose delivery is off. If we'd had Larsson on the right, we'd have had nobody running at Taylor. I can understand Elmo's inclusion, although I did think it might be better to leave him out after his disappearing act at St James'.
