So glad I decided to splash out on the £3 to watch the game there. Cracking atmosphere, even if it was very nervous for the second half and then flat after Ameobi scored.
Only problem was the problem with that bloody speaker before kick off, and during the early part of the second half. Quite annoying when a speaker cuts off randomly.
Place went absolutly mental when we took the lead, and somehow even more mental after Mig saved their penalty! Good job when we scored I didn't have much coke left as it ended up getting filled with some spilt beer

(I don't drink so couldn't bring my self to drink a coke mixed with beer!)
As for the game, well the draw is the fair result. They did totally dominate the second half, but to lose the lead to an injury time Ameobi goal when Ba seems to make a move for the ball in an offisde position really sticks the knife in. But a point at their place after last year is a great point.
Big, massive downsides are the red cards. Sess was stupid to throw his arm into Oscar nominated Tiote, and the 3 games he will miss will be key - Everton being the really big one. And Catts is missing for 3 games now too. Got that 10th booking for a 2 game suspension, then a straight red about 3 hours after the final whistle just for that extra game off. That game at Everton just got a lot harder.
Big plus was the effort put in by the players today. Shame it was Sess who got sent off as if he was on the pitch in a 10 man situation, he'd be able to hold onto the ball to have given us some time on the ball to at least relieve pressure. Again, a derby left with feeling of "what if?" the main one for me, what if McClean had just belted the ball in the second half when he had that chance from the Sess shot saved by Krul...
