London Marathon

This is a look at me look at me thread.

I am 'running' in this tomorrow on what will probably be the warmest london marathon since it started.

I am absolutely filling my kegs and could do with some encoragement (or prophecies of failure).

Good luck, last years was over 20 degrees, nearly killed me!

You'll be fine though, make use of all the water, run through all the shower things, and look out for people handing out jelly babies in the second half of the race.

That's a really kind gesture Epps. Eventhough it's not the reason I posted (really is a look at me thread) it would be much appreciated.

I got a ballot place so dont actually need to raise anything but decided to do it for charity anyway. Diabetes UK.

you deserve a pat on the back for that alone

plenty of water, steady early pace..
easy to say but don't let the atmosphere drag you along too quick.

Stick to your run band pace...I take it you have a run band..I believe they dish them out for nowt at the expo.
