    Default How much to add an extra driver on a policy?

    I need to add somebody to a car insurance policy for a month, anyone any idea how much it will cost.
    The car is is a very low insurance group.

    I'm a bit of a traditionalist and would actually ring up my insurer to find out. They are usually pretty accurate as well

    Depends mainly on the person you are adding rather than the car itself and there will be quite differing amounts for different Insurers. Age, experience, convictions, accidents, claims, own insurance etc.

    In most cases there will be some form of admin fee too. To pluck a figure from the air then £30 for a months cover for an experienced claim free driver on a policy of around £350.

    Thanks ,it's our lasses car and I reckon she pays about £300 a year.
