    Default The "buy-out" clause

I've been told it's nothing special at all. As in, it's not different to anyone else's contract. It's high. Very high. No idea where people think this clause that big clubs can "poach" him has come from, and if you think about it, it doesn't make sense at all anyway does it?

Ipswich have a "pretty hefty" sell-on clause as part of the deal, so I'm guessing we're looking towards 30-40% of profits. I'll try and get a figure.

Fully expect Scott Wilson to confirm this some time in September

I pretty much assumed this, but thanks for the info.

The press don't know what to do in my opinion, he was going to anfield, nailed on, he was hyped up, the next Rooney, worth £15 mil, 18 year old, now he's came to the SOL the press are going on like headless chickens :/

    30-40% of any future profit?

    Surely not?

I've kinda guessed that figure. Like I said, I'll try and get a more accurate figure on it.

Ipswich have a 60 to 70% sell on clause?

    Shite.

Would be a hell of a deal for Ipswich that, given that all the clauses would also have been paid up.
