    Default Major Squad Changes Again

Bruce mentioned last year that he tried to do a lot with the squad in a short space of time (as in getting in and getting rid) and that as a result it can take time to settle. Near the end of the season he mentioned going for "quality nto quanity" and whilst I agree that many of our signings are a step in the right direction I think it could be a case of deja vu.

Now, one year on we've brought in a lot of players in the summer, tried to shift quite a few out and are looking to continue doing this.
Just thinking that were in many ways repeating what we did last year.

It's looking more and more like his squad now though and I think he's replacing the weak willed with stronger hearted sorts. Can only be good. I'm dead excited and I'm 38. Excitement shouldn't be a normal emotion!!!!

Getting rid of the likes of Murphy etc has to be a step in the right direction though. Plus a few loan deals mean if they're no good (hopefully they are), we're under no obligation to keep them. Pleased enough with our dealings so far, or though I'd still like to see a couple more proven signings, ideally.

I agree, it's just the volume of players comming in that makes me think it could take time to settle.

I'm supportive of what Bruce has done so far in flogging Murphy, Jones, and trying to get rid of Kilganon and Ferdinand.

I agree hes got to get rid of the players that are not moving the club forward, Macartney, Killgallon, Ferdinand, Noseworthy will benefit the club.

He only bought Kilgallon 6 months ago - now he's selling him.

I've backed Bruce all along but I'm now starting to have my doubts about him in the transfer market.

I'm assuming that the likes of Riveros wont be bought and then sit on the bench for 12 months aka Da Silva.

He's wheeled and dealed and its now basically his squad. Time to deliver. No excuses - 1oth or upwards please. If the likes of Fulham, Birmingham or Stoke end up above us then questions should, quite rightly, be asked.

Harry, we were a team where we could not attract players of premiership calibre, I think now we have changed, the mags are suffering the same fate we did, not being able to attract players of premiership calibre.

    Oh happy days.

To be fair, I prefer the fact he thinks Kilgallon isn't up to it, and is looking to get rid, rather than be stubborn and keep him as he's one of his signings.
