Was at a talk in at Chester Le Street Cricket Club last night and Mickey Gray was asked the same question. He did not really answer it but he said it was his dream to organise a game at the SOL between the millennium side and the current team.

The compare said 'you might lose mind'.

The current side is better in my view. They are younger and have the potential to improve significantly and they also have the benefit of a better manager and a more stable set up behind the scenes. The older side probably had better team spirit and that was the main reason they did so well.

Was arguing this point just a couple of days ago at work. I maintain that Reid's team was the better based on the partnerships that his team excited us with. Quinn-Phillips. Gray-Magic. Makin-Summerbee. If your basing your argument blinded by transfer fees you would say Bruce's team is better.
