Channel 813 on Sky

The Islam Channel.
Watched a bit of it last night and for the first time really, I got a glimpse into a massive other culture in this country.
Adverts for Halah Steakhouses. Islamic solicitors. Stuff like that. The best one was The Muslim Pages, a version of the yellow pages.
Then I watched soul search and to be fair, it was canny dull like, all they did was interpret the Koran.

There are quite a few 10-20 min previews but I haven't seen anything too graphic (usually in bed by 11:03 during the week).

I'm a bit miffed as a few years ago on SKY some of them got their rats out occasionally.

Now I've got SKY it doesn't seem as good as then.

I might have a butcher's at the Allah channel next then.

When I worked in Kuwait they had belly dancing competitions on TV. One lass from a more liberated country (Lebanon I think) got quite frisky and some of the judges were well peeved off. Hopefully they are combining religion with entertainment, to keep up with the times.
