You're walking along and you come to a fork in the road. At the fork stands a villager. One fork leads to the truthtellers village who are nice people and will make you a sandwich. One fork leads to the liars village who are cannibals and will make you into a sandwich.

You really fancy a sandwich and you're not too keen on being served up with chips and salad.

You can only ask him one question that will lead you to the truthtellers village and safety.

You don't know which village the villager comes from so you don't know if he's a liar or a truthteller.

What would that question be ?

The villager has to go home at some point, so i'd ask an easy question like "do sunderland afc play in red and white stripes?"- if the villager says no then i'd turn around and gan back the way i came until i came to a motorway service station, and if he said yes then i'd hide in the bushes and wait for him to get bored of standing at a fork in the road and gan home for his tea, at which point i'd follow him, get an invite back to his for summit to eat and see if he had a daughter i could shag
