Any one having problems with BT Broadband

I have been having problems with Bt Broadband connection all day. Can connect to the home page (BT Yahoo) but when I try to search, I get an error message. I have uninstalled and reinstalled their software. Desktop help says my connection is ok, Norton scans ok. Spyware ok. Also lsow connection - time out problems, can't find any virus. Anybody any ideas.

I have connected this time via internet explorer not via their icon.
