Not defending him as I realise its completely beyond that But if he does go it has to be more due to the past 12 months then last 2 games.

When you look back over the last 2 matches if that last minute Sessegnon shot takes an inch more deflection, and his team had taken their chances today, or Al Habsi hadn't had a man of the match performance, we would have bizarrly been about 8th or 9th tonight.

That's not to defend him and he still has a huge amount to answer for over the past 12 months and other disgraces like the Mags at home, but we have been unlucky and just a hair's breath away from being top 10 over these past 2 matches.

Today is almost irrelevant - we've been rubbish for a year now and rubbish for long periods in the previous years of his tenure. I'm all for stability etc. but it has been apparent from the Brighton and Norwich games that he isn't going to turn this round. There really is only one option - the sack.
