    Default Captaincy

Surely no question now that it looks like O'shea and Brown are coming in. JOS has to be given the armband as soon as he pens the deal.

Someone who is solid in defence and has a winning mentality bred into him. Has to be taken from Catts now surely.

I agree - JOS is a ready made SAFC captain.

I dunno, I've never liked the idea of a new player coming in and taking the captaincy straight away. They know nothing about the club and players.

Aye, that will be a massive boost for Cattermole and the rest of the squads morale. Let's take the captaincy away from a young, talented lad who has done to job fairly well since he came to the club and is respected by his team mates and give it to a 30 year old new signing.

What makes you think that JOS will make a good captain, whenever I've seen him, he's not shown any natural attributes to make me think he should be a shoo in as captain.

Cattermole on the other hand is a fountain of knowledge.

JoS has been Man U captain on numerous occasions, has to be club captain for me, as it would upset Cattermole and the team morale (thanks FM!)

He's captained Manchester united in the champions league, perhaps?

And how do you know about the players perception of Cattermole? I would say that overall, he's been disappointing since joining. Certainly not the big impact I expected form him anyway.
