Open a high interest account at another bank and transfer it over, then have any interest on it automaticaly transferred. Then you've still got the original cash if anyone wants it, plus around a 4k a year tax-free bonus.

Transfer the money in small regular amounts and if they ever do realise their mistake offer to pay them back 50p per week

Transfer to a high interest account with another bank, keep the 100k cause they'll be back for it eventually.
