    Default we have a mouse

It totally fucking ignores me as it seems to sense that I won't hurt it but if he goes in the kitchen and it's anywhere near his foodbowl it becomes the Linford Christie of the mouse world being chased by the Mike Tyson of the dog world.
Are there any humane traps that work?

We have a few out in the yard. Used to have a metal baited trap that let em in but not out, then we deposited them a few miles away. We've given up now like, they give us some entertainment watching them nicking the birdseed when we're having breakfast...

Make sure you let them go at least 5miles away or it will keep coming back. That's what the rentokill fella told me anyway

It's easy to build one if you have a little ingenuity. However, they have a good homing instinct, so you have to release them over half a mile away or they'll just make their own way back.

I had a very large vole or shrew that decided to take up residence with me when there was snow outside. Bold as brass, the cheeky thing would try and engage in staring competitions.

Haven't seen it since the thaw.

When me ma used to live with me she put poison down, I picked one poor little bastard up and he was shivering and bleeding from every orifice. I know they cause damage but no way I could put any animal through that.
Our lass got uz one of those things that emit ultrasonic sound and scares them away.
it's a waste of fucking time.
