BBQs really can be brilliant when you keep it simple and serve food like this. Nowt worse than going to a BBQ which serves nowt but cheap supermarket meat smothered in some claggy sauce that burns when it hits the grill. All served on stale white baps.

Did a seafood BBQ last year after getting some great fish from Leeds market. Jersey royals and green bean salad, nice bread and a selection of razor clams, sardines and langoustines (plus a couple of sausages obviously). Sounds expensive, but it really wasn't. Christ it was good!
