Default Saving DVD's to Hard Disk

Is this possible and if it is how do you do it?

Got some instructional DVD's (not that type) that I'd like on hard disk so they are all in one place and I don't have to shlep them around.

    Cheers

Bollocks; wrong place! Please move it mods, ta.

get a free DVD ripper and store them as AVI's. these are smaller, can be ran through WMP and can be burned as DVD's later if you want.
