Man City deserved to win
apparently...
I just watched MOTD and the ONLY 3 proper chances they had came from:
a handball (Dzeko when Mignolet saved)
a foul (on Sessegnon, not given, Aguero shot and saved again by Mignolet)
offside (Richards header into the bar)
apart from that they had a few half-arsed shots from outside the penalty box.
A lot of possession, but no end product.
Whereas we had 2 great chances created by some very good play (Sess both times)
What gets me is that the pundits can see the same video replays, they can even say that we deserved to win it because of our defending, yet they can't seem to go that extra step and point these things out.
it's baffling.
also, Larsson get's his yellow card for holding Aguero, but it's quite obvious on the replay that Aguero had his arm around Seb's neck at first, yet the commentator says "yep, he definitely held him there" no mention that he was fouled first and that's why he is so obviously pissed off with the decision.
ah well, what a great day though eh?
