80s Rewind Tour
Great show tonight on the whole.
T'Pau - Excellent. Carol Decker looked amazing.
Christians - Poor. No Forgotten Town?
Go West - Absolutely superb. Stole the show tonight.
Sister Sledge - Surprisingly entertaining, and I'm not a fan.
Howard Jones - Excellent. Sounds as good as he did 25 years ago.
ABC - Brilliant, would be the best act tonight if not for Go West.
Kool And The Gang - Embarrassingly self indulgent shite, awful end to a good show. What a bunch of egotistical pricks, and they had screens around the musicians the big Jessies. Celebration was a decent performance but not enough to redeem them.

I wouldn't go to TEF Club if any of that lot were on free.
My mate loves 80's stuff like that, I just cant get away with it in the slightest.

Fair enough, each to their own.
As I said to my mate, let's see how many acts from the last 20 years are still performing 25 years on and drawing decent crowds. Howard Jones is just back from touring America. There's a lot of demand for decent 80s stuff.
The age groups at the gig ranged from teens to pensioners, I was somewhere in the middle.

The days of modern acts having any kind of longevity are gone, Simon Cowell has seen to that.

On reading the act list again, I reckon my mate was probably there, he loves The Christians, and the other acts sound like his thing anarl.
