    Default Dos Santos

Talking about Giovani Dos Santos at spurs.

Apparently Rodgers was keen on taking him to Swansea before he left and was lining up a move. He is now back at Spurs who are keen to sell him still and he is unlikely to move to Santanda where he was on loan last season as they are relegated.

I reckon he would be a great 'Mon Signing' there is a very good player in there somewhere as his international form suggests. Infact he was pretty much man of the match in Mexico's friendly game against Brazil the other day, scoring 1 goal and winning the penalty for the other in a 2-0 win. He also scored 5 in 16 games for Santanda last season. A 1 in 3 return, for a relegated team, in the Spanish Premier, from a wing position is a pretty impressive return.

Fits O'Neill's style well too as a pacey winger who cuts in and presumably if he was willing to go to Swansea then in terms of fee and attractiveness we would be realistic.

Not really one to usually throw out random names but he will probably be away this summer and based on price, fit and again being that typical Mon profile - Young, lots of potential, needs refining... Will be a good signing, if not for us then for someone

He looks a bit weak as piss to really cut it in the English leagues.

He's ability has never been in question,he could have made it at Barcelona if he knuckled down. It's his attitude and lack of commitment that is the problem.

I suggested him last summer , would be a canny signing . He is still very young and with his contract running down could get him for around 5 million . When you see the prices being banded around for young english talent who are / were plying there trade in the championship he is much better value .

Can play in behind a striker and on the right or left would mean we could have a lot of movement up front with the like of sess and mclean switching causing havoc .

I also dont buy into the doesn't suit the english game when you see slight but technically gifted players like sess silva mata Lee( bolton) modric Ryo Miyaichi ben arfa and Yossi" Benayoun all holding more then there own in the premiership .

Ipswich fans still rave about him after the few months he spent down there , and the championship is just as physical if not more so then the premiership .
