basically the ball before he had a huge swing and miss, to which Fletcher gave him some choice words, next ball was a legside yorker, which Pollard opened his legs and hit the ball through them deliberately for four, following the shot he raised his bat high as if hed played a cover drive/forward block and held the pose. Cue more harsh language from both sides and a deliberate shoulder barge from Pollard on his return to the crease.
Three balls later, match over and both players shook hands, with smiles.
Heat of the moment, from the looks of it, no malice.

Apart from him deliberately edging it through his legs for 4 that's spot on He's a good player but I think that's over-egging it a bit. He was just trying to get his bat on it and his feet out of the way. Which meant holding the pose was even more ridiculous. Mr Atherton was not amused, it took the shine off his innings according to him, miserable bugger.

I'd have been well pissed off if a batsman had done it to me like
