Default Just back from a tour of the SOL with Jim Montgomery

And I have to say it was first class. Jimmy was a gent and even though I've been round most of the stadium before his banter and knowledge made it very enjoyable.
All in all took around 2 hours. I thought I'd share some pics I took (badly) off my iPhone. You may think so what but I was thinking of the exiles or the supporters who've never had the chance to visit the SOL or it's underbelly.
Anyway here we go. A few dressing room photos.

Training area in home dressing room.

    Ice bath.

Scales underneath board tracking the weight of players before games and after. Jimmy reckons Gyan, Angeleri, Da Silva, Reid are all heavier after a game.

    Poem put up by Keane

Away dressing room. Jimmy says there training area is always locked, in fact they've lost the keys was asked if he could rig the sewage again, replied that lot will bring enough of that with them.

Stairs leading down to the tunnel.

    Tunnel through the doors.

Managers room. Gan on Bruce lads, must gan his ends. Jimmy says Bruce always has a but craic coming into the SOL, and welcomes people in. Under Keane no hello's nothing and only allowed in managers room if summoned.

Well there ya gan. Had a bit craic about players. Said you lads like Henderson and Meyler are top notch attitude wise. Says there is still some bad characters here, said wouldn't mention names then talked about McCartney still been here.
On Henderson reckons he'll become much better going to man u or arsenal. Reckons 15m bid and we'll sell.
On the transfer front says we'll be bringing in a couple of midfielders who can score.
Anyway that's it off the top of me head. Nothing new I suppose.
