    Default Ferdinand

Just to give my jerky knees a rest-
Ferdinand seems to have been playing well. Do people think this is just Brown carrying him or is he finally starting to show the potential that we paid 8 million for.

Ferdinand is our most naturally talented centre back. Now that he is paired with another player who is premier league quality rather than poor Br*ce signings like Turner, Bramble and Kilgallon his quality is shinning through.

Having Brown is helping him definitely. To be fair he always had potential, he just needs someone constantly in his ear to help him cut out those daft lapses in concentration he seems prone to.

Wasn't Rio prone to similar at a young age? Family thing perhaps?

Ameobi - yes Ameobi - was all over him. Get rid to the Hammers. Some decent games a season but generally dodgy as fuck.

Bit harsh on Bramble before his injuries last year and aside from the away derby he was magnificent. I still havent made my mind up on Turner he could still come good, hes pretty young.

God knows about kilgallon there's something fishy with his situation

All the same happy for Ferdinand hope he is this years bardsley (except for the being played out of position bit)

Tbh I thought he coped alright with Ameobi.... Brown seemed to struggle more with him

Ameobi may be a shit footballer but he leads the line well and is a handfull. Tbh I thought Ferdinand coped better with him than Brown did.

Brown definitely improves his game. My theory is Anton is so dense he sees Brown playing next to him he thinks he is Rio. All praise to him Brown has made more mistakes and its Anton's shirt to lose.

I've always thought Ferdinand was a decent player. Handy to have around & I wouldn't worry to see him in any position along the back. Whether or not I'd want him as one of our first choice long term is another thing. But that would also put question marks over his wages if not considered a main player for us.

I'd also like to state I think Richardson will be/is a good left back for us and haven't saw what any of the hoo har* that has been on here about him actually on he pitch. Nobody has played well this season so far.

*By hoo har I mean people going way over the top and acting like massive bellends and pinning any problems down on one player.
