My daughters going to have a miner operation today,
Nothing serious, but still worried sick, no sleep last night, the life of a parent! Plus I've got to sit with the ex till it's all done.

My lad broke his collar bone playing rugby on Saturday-fracture clinic today and then 8 weeks in a sling. Poor bugger.
Hope today goes well mate.

Does it in any way involve the removal of a canary?

I know what you mean (apart from the ex part). Our little lad had to have a tooth taken out. As he's only 4 they say the best thing is to put him under. Even though we knew it was straightforward and there was little/no chance of a problem The sight of him unconscious and hooked up to the heart monitor as you leave the theater was horrible.
She'll be fine marra. For us, one hour after the op he's throwing himself around a small soft play area in the hospital like a lunatic while they wai to check he's feeling ok!
