Right before i start i must say that i hate them as much as anyone.

However, i really think that this derby has got to be about us getting behind the lads only, not being obsessed with hating them. That can wait until the 17th!!!

The reason for this is they have several HORRIBLE players who will love it if we are incredibly hostile towards them.

The likes of Nolan, Barton and Carroll clearly thrive off being in intimidating atmospheres and will raise their games no end if they feel like there are 45000 people booing them.

Our players froze at their ground and i do not want to see it happen again. With injuries and possible suspensions it is looking more and more likely that we will have a young team out so let us to a man get behind our team 100%, almost ignoring their existance.

Lets have the place bouncing with pro Sunderland songs from 11.50am - 2.00pm.

Agree, but then we had a more experienced team and had not been beaten 5-1 at their hole.

Also i see it that they do not really have much to lose. If we won 2-0 they will still just harp back to the 5-1.
