Default HDMI Cable for a 360

Is this just as good as the expensive ones?

    http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B0017RW94A/ref=pd_lpo_k2_dp_sr_1?pf_rd_p=471057153&pf_rd_s=lpo-top-stripe&pf_rd_t=201&pf_rd_i=B000VUVCK6&pf_rd_m=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE&pf_rd_r=0KK3VS22VGPR3G2Q28WZ

yes. They either work or they don't so don't waste money on a more expensive one.

I bought that exact same one from Amazon for my PS3. Swapped it with the one that came with my Sky+HD box and was no difference. You'd be a mug to pay for one of the expensive ones.

Something to do with it being a digital connection or something means that there's not going to be any real difference between gold plated or what have you cables. I got one with my PS3 for free, some CompetitionPro shite. Moved house and the previous owners had left a Monster HDMI cable from their Sky installation (think thats what its called) which are ridiculously expensive and there was no difference at all.

Gold plated connections were ideal on analog signals as they were likely to have interference. With a digital signal, interference isn't an issue. A cheap HDMI cable is therefore just as good as an expensive (over-priced) HDMI cable.

There's a place here that sells them for $3 when on special (every 6 weeks or so)... needed one for the cable box, ps3 and x360..... they all work great too!

Got a few spares hanging around in case of needing more too

The only thing you need to be careful of is shit build quality. The one I have from my PC to the TV is falling to bits round the end which attaches to the TV because it had poor build quality. Most of them are fine though

For a couple of quid a pop, for something that will be plugged in and just left for a long time, I'll just get a cheapie.
