    Default Larsson

Just covering all options but seems a shame people are complaining about McClean missing the chance just before Sess went. As Larsson if anything had a much easier oppertunity before it.

He was literally unmarked with a clear shot on the edge of the 6 yard box.
McClean did kind of the right thing, drilled it low with a bit of pace and Krul was lucky (But in the future we should tell them to put loft on that)

However Larsson was clean in and just needed to either loft it over Krul or curl it around him. Krul had spread himself well but also completely sold himself and a composed head there would have put us 2-0 up. It was a superb chance really that Larsson scuppered

I note that ESPN never showed it again but my initial thought was that it was a good save. McLean just took the wrong option. Shit happens but if he'd scored we'd have won and finished the game with 11 men. Amen.

I thought they both should have done much better but yet again Larsson put a massive shift in despite being ill.

If all our players show the same commitment as he does, then we will be doing class.

I'd rather mcclean did that and we say krul did well and saved well than watch mcclean blaze one into the 15th row of the crowd

took a couple of similar ish chances midweek for Sweden, disappointing but it is what it is.

happy with a point with the massive game v Everton still on the horizon
