    Default Junk removal from your house

    does the council still come and collect large items such as old beds, sofas etc or do you have to go through one of these junk removal firms? if its the latter what sort of prices do they usually charge?

    I think you're allowed two a year or something from the council for free, depends where you live like. That's in Sunderland

    Just chuck it on the footpath, then phone the council and tell them someones dumped an auld sofa outside your house.
