Whilst I'm not Asian, I will add that when I entered the USA at JFK, I was advised by the fella who picked me out of the line for the old frisking routine not to wear baggy clothing next time. I was wearing a pair of grey jogging bottoms that I'd bought assuming they'd be comfortable to wear on a long flight.

Gap year spoilt twat as well ... I hope he's refused re-entry.

As most of the bomb plots and hijackings which have led to even stricter security have been carried out by asian or arabic males. Why is it suddenly racist to select them for searching?

I know somebody who used to have two passports, one for travelling to America and the other for travelling to the Middle East.

He had just been to Kuwait when he was going Plane Spotting in America, he took the wrong passport and spent the day in Immigration, as his middle east passport had some great stamps in it.

I have a persian friend who seems to be searched more regularly. His sense of humour involves leaving 'wires' protruding from his rucksack though.

I don't think he's said that.

I'm fairly sure he says "I get it." in the article and he's actually just poking fun at himself/the whole thing.
