When he was at Wigan there was no way he could have stopped Man United and Tottenham from buying his players same with Liverpool here, Bent and Cana left for more money and he sold Jones and rightly so.

Can't use Jones as an example as Bruce wanted rid, Bruce left Wigan to come to us citing the Valencia and Palacios sales as factors and Bent and Cana arranged their moves behind the clubs back.

I'm no Bruce fan but there is only the potential Henderson sale that is worrying but even then the rumoured fee would be hard for any club to turn down.
