    Default Congratulations Steve Bruce

On your position in the top 100 of the Sunday Times sporting rich list.

Good to see that you have increased your estimated wealth by a further £1m over the last year to £11m, and make it to No. 84.

OK, results on the pitch may have been shit in that time, but at least you have done well to get that contract extension which gets you ahead of the likes of Harry Redknapp (who has taken Spurs into the Champions League quarter finals in that time), Martin O'Neill (who won more trophies with Leicester CIty than you have in your career), David Moyes, and Tony Pulis (who have both finished above you on the pitch yet again).

Well done Brucey. That must make the hardest three or four months of your career that you talked about yesterday (presumably youve forgotten your relegation of Birmingham) all the better.

PS - Its good to know that while Niall Quinn is trying to argue the importance of sell out crowds, that the extra income generated per annum will pay for around half of Steve Bruce's annual salary.

Shocking if true that. Sunderland handsomely reward incompetence once more.
